I know that some of you are frustrated because of not being paid. We have exhausted every legal Avenue in an attempt to get all applicants paid by DEO immediately. This includes seeking a mandamus and injunctive relief on behalf of the named plaintiffs and all Floridians who are similarly situated. We are frustrated, too. We are not handling individual claims. You must seek representation on your individual claims. We are handing the lawsuit only seeking damages for the problems with the system and delays in payments. YOU MUST SEEK AN ATTORNEY TO ASSIST YOU ON YOUR INDIVIDUAL CLAIMS. We have tried our hardest to get everyone paid but have been denied the emergency relief. The next hearing is on June 22, 2020 and we will provide the zoom link so that anyone who wants to attend can do so. This hearing will be on motions to dismiss that both DEO and Deloitte, the maker of the UC/RA system, have filed trying to dismiss the lawsuit. Judge John Cooper is the judge handling the case. Again, I am terribly sorry for the delays you have all experienced but we have tried our hardest to get the emergency relief but have not been successful.
